Wendell Wayne Anglin, a resident of Cottonwood, died Thursday January 28, 2021 at Southeast Health. He was 76.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, February 4, 2021at Union Springs
Freewill Baptist Church cemetery in Pansey, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
Wendell was born September 1, 1944 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Murray Millard and Hazel Merlene Ethridge Anglin. At an early age he moved to Louisville, Kentucky and graduated from Louisville Male High School. Wayne joined the United States Air Force and served honorably before earning his Electrical Engineering degree and later retired from CSX Railroad. He loved to fish and will be remembered as a cut-up and friend to all.
Survivors include his children, Kim Moore (James), Timothy Anglin (Tammy) and Phillip Jasgarszewski (Rhonda); grandchildren, Leslie, Lori, Travis, PJ, Anissa and Joey; seven great grandchildren.
