Tommy Victor Cribbs, a resident of Dothan, died Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Southeast Health Medical Center. He was 77.
Funeral services for Mr. Cribbs will be held at 1 PM Friday, June 16, 2023 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage. The family will receive friends from 12 until 12:45 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ashford City cemetery.
Mr. Cribbs was born July 26, 1945 in Tampa, Florida to the late Robert Leroy and Lucy Bradshaw Cribbs. He moved to the Dothan area 35 years ago and was a paint contractor owning and operating Superior Paint and Sandblasting. Mr. Cribbs also built and owned River Road Grocery on Highway 95. He had a love for the outdoors, especially hunting and playing country music on his guitar.
Mr. Cribbs is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Tommy Cribbs, Jr. and five brothers.
Survivors include his Queen of 60 years, Sheila Cribbs; daughter, Tina Dillard (Garry), Kayla Taylor (Mark); five grandchildren, Tonya, James, Todd, Christina and Dustin; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Joyce, Carolyn, Sandra and Sharon Kay.
