Teddie Sue Enfinger, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her residence. She was 71 years old.
Per her wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
Mrs. Enfinger was born on February 18, 1951, in Geneva County, Alabama to the late Ernest Lamar and Kathleen Faircloth Whitman.
Susie was married to Donald Enfinger for 27 years. She worked at Charlie’s Cylinder Head Repair for 30 years. She also worked at the Holiday Inn South for ten years in housekeeping and Jake’s Bar. She enjoyed drinking coffee with her friends Linda, Sandra, and Tonya at the southside Waffle House. She also loved Alabama football – Roll Tide!!
Mrs. Enfinger is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ernest Edwin Whitman; and a grandson, Nathaniel (Nate) Bigham.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Philip Lamar (Paula) Griffin of Wewahitchka, Florida; three daughters, Cindy (Derrick) Long of Atlanta, Georgia, Nikki (Justin) Perkins of Midland City, Alabama, and Kim (Ben) Beall of Cottonwood, Alabama; three granddaughters, Natalie Long, Averie Beall, and Ansley Beall; three grandsons, Alec Griffin, Tyler Herrington, and Trevor Perkins; two great grandsons Porter Herrington, and Granger Herrington; brother, Charles Whitman (Lori Adkinson) of Dothan, Alabama; and sister, Betty (Bill) Register of Charlotte, North Carolina.
