Sharon White Obituary

Sharon Lee White, a resident of Cowarts, died Monday, October 16, 2023 at her residence. She was 65.

Sharon was born May 23, 1958 in Bartow, Florida to the late Royce Vann and Emily Lucille Whitehurst Quattlebaum. She owned and operated Dothan Truck Stop and Dixie Café in Cowarts and enjoyed serving and making friends with her customers. Sharon loved travelling with her husband, Johnnie Hurst and attending antique car shows.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Wayne, Danny and Jackie Ray Quattlebaum and a sister, Patricia Hughes.

Sharon will be missed by her loving survivors of two daughters, Trina and Billy Farmer, Sabrina Melvin; grandchildren, Kasey Carroll (Grady), Kandice McLendon and William Robinson, Duston Hurst (Katherine), RJ Melvin and Alicia Champ (Alek); eight great grandchildren.
