Nancy Stephens-Shane Obituary

Nancy Lee Stephens-Shane, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her home. She was 61.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Clarion Inn.

Born to the late Ray and Yvonne Fossett Stephens, Ms. Nancy was raised in Florida before moving to Dothan in her adult life where she resided for twenty years before her passing. She was a Registered Nurse for twenty years at Southeast Alabama Medical Center before she had to take a medical retirement. Ms. Nancy loved to travel, going to the beach, the mountains, and especially taking cruises. Her hobbies included reading and taking care of her cats that she dearly loved. Nancy never met a stranger and believed that everyone had good intentions. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two brothers, Paul and Mark Stephens; a dear friend, Kathy Dean along with many other friends.
