Mary Jane Johnson

Mary Jane Chubb Johnson, a resident of Taylor, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Flowers Hospital. She was 71.

Visitation services for Mrs. Johnson will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Thursday, October 25, 2018 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with cremation to follow.

Mrs. Johnson was born June 13, 1947 in Summerville, SC to the late Alfred and Opal Seay Chubb, Sr. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook for her family and fish.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Larry Johnson; children, Teresa Phelps (Terrence Butler), Joseph L. Johnson, Jr., Steve Allen Johnson; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; three sisters, Martha Hickman, Betty Johnson, Audrey Chubb; four brothers, Alfred Chubb, Jr., Tony Chubb, Sr., Harry Chubb and Justin Chubb.
