Luther James Hasty

Luther James Hasty, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Extendicare Health Services surrounded by his loving family. He was 90.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Union Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Kyle Johnson and Reverend Chuck Spivey officiating. Interment will be immediately following the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1PM to 2PM at the church.

Mr. Hasty was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lessie Bowen Hasty; a son, Ronnie Hasty; a brother, Robert Hasty; a sister, Betty McIntosh; and a granddaughter-in-law, Connie Hasty.

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years Blonnie Hasty; a daughter, Patsy Burk (Larry);  four grandchildren, Kim Barker (Keith), Craig Burk (Candy), Karla Hatcher (Ronnie), and Scotty Hasty; nine great grandchildren, Chasity Garner (J.C.), Tara and Cody Barker, Keri Prince (Austin), Josh Burk, Billy, Marcus, Clint, and Daniel Hatcher; as well as 5 great-great grandchildren.
