Obituary
Linda Gayle Stone Johnston, a resident of Taylor, died Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her residence. She was 76.
Memorial services for Linda will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Chaplain Edward Biss officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Linda was born November 5, 1946 to the late Marvin Cecil and Frances Louis Baker Stone. She was raised in Marion, Alabama and attended school there until moving to Dothan in 1985. Linda was a stay at home mom but her job was taking care of her family, kids and grandkids. She enjoyed art, flowers and reading.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents and a son in law, Eddie White.
Survivors include her children, Linda Leigh White, Michael Paul Johnston (Monica Carter), Marcus Edward Johnston (Denise); 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two brothers, Doyle Wayne Stone (Becky) and Bruce Edward Stone (JoAnne).
