Obituary

Linda Rene Battles Ethridge, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 79.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Linda was born to the late Jack and Mildred Smith Battles on May 24, 1944 in Houston County, Alabama. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Wayne Ethridge; and a sister, little Gloria Battles.

Left to cherish her memories are her two children, Kimberly North (Jon) and Bradley Wayne Ethridge (Marie); five grandchildren, Kennedy Rhodes, Bailey Ethridge, Olivia Ethridge, Jeremy Peacock, and Jordan Peacock; two brothers, Mickey Battles (Shelby) and Jackie Battles (Tina); a sister, Nancy Crooms (Allen); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends.
