Guy Reginald Morgan

Guy Reginald Morgan, a resident of Cottonwood, Alabama died Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Southeast Health. He was 68.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Hodgesville Baptist Church. Interment will be immediately following the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 1PM to 2PM.

Guy was born to the late William and Hallie Elmore Morgan on December 1, 1954 in Columbus, Georgia. He retired after fifty years of truck driving from Four L Trucking. His hobbies included fishing, tinkering with anything that had a motor, and cheering on his Alabama Crimson Tide in the fall “Roll Tide”. Guy never met a stranger and always enjoyed bringing joy and laughter to everyone. He was a loving husband of twenty-seven years to Terri Money Morgan. His deep love for his three daughters and his grandbabies will always be cherished. His greatest enjoyment was making lasting memories with his family.

 He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David Morgan and Tracy Morgan.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife; three daughters, Nicole Robinson (Adam), Melissa Downing (Ben Womack), Samantha Morgan (Marcos Araujo); four grandchildren, Kole Downing, Reagan Robinson, Raylin Robinson, Aimah Araujo, and J.D. Womack; along with many friends.
