Edward Morris Obituary

Edward William Morris, a resident of Cottonwood, Alabama died Saturday morning, August 27, 2022 at his home. He was 78.

Memorial services will be held at 5 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend Stuart Tullis officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Edward was born March 24, 1944 in London, England to the late Edward Alfred and Grace Isabella Bell Morris. He retired as a Communications Engineer from Civil Service and has been in Cottonwood for about 19 years. Edward was a member of the Sewing Guild and enjoyed quilting.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Morris; sons, Nicholas Clayton (Blondie), Richard Clayton; daughter, Carol Simmons; sister, June Everett (Alan); Ellisa Woodham, Kennsley Woodham and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
