Edward Howell, Jr., a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home January 7, 2021 after an extended illness. He was 85.

Family graveside services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Gardens of Memory cemetery with Pastor Elizabeth Hinton officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Howell was born November 25, 1935 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Edward Lawrence and Jessie Trotter Howell, Sr. He grew up in Cottonwood, Alabama (Grangerburg) and was a 1953 graduate of Cottonwood High School. Mr. Howell worked for B.C. Moore and Sons for 49 years as a District Manager and was a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Elaine Howell; two sons, Ed Howell and Eric Howell; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
