David Edward Hamilton

David Edward Hamilton, a resident of Dothan and formerly Ashford, died Monday, November 30, 2020 at Southeast Health. He was 71.

Graveside services for Mr. Hamilton will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Ashford City cemetery with Jackie Smith officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Hamilton was born June 26, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Glen and Evelyn Ivey Hamilton. He resided in Ashford and retired from ETI as Plant Manager.

Mr. Hamilton is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Hamilton; sister, Glenda Buenteo and a brother, Curtis Hamilton.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Lyn and Chris Carter; son and daughter in law, Tony and Christie Hamilton; grandchildren, Jake Hamilton, Jordan Wells (Hunter), Cassidy Chavis, Abigale Chavis and Dylan Granger; sisters, Sandra Bellard and Shirley Hamilton; brother, Michael Hamilton.
