Obituary
David Joshua Freeman, a resident of Taylor, died unexpectedly Saturday May 20, 2023 at his residence. He was 40.
Memorial services for David will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Brother William Blane officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the funeral home.
David was born October 19, 1982 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert H. Freeman, Jr. and the late Machell Barnes Freeman. He moved to Dothan at a young age and was a 2001 graduate of Rehobeth High School. David was a Jack of All Trades and worked for Freeman’s Mobile Home Services.
David is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Survivors include his father, Bob Freeman; stepmother, Kathy Freeman; daughters, Alyssa Dorch (Kaitlyn), Shyanne Freeman, Vanessa Freeman and Lyndsey Milton; grandchild, Rylee Freeman; sisters, Amy Lynn Bedford (Joey), Genesis Notestein (Clint), Myrya Cisneros, Terra Cisneros (Andrew) and Lacy Pace; brother, Christopher Tolson; nephew, Justice McNeal. He also remained close, life-long friends with his three daughters mother, Kimberly Summers. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and extended family.
