Obituary
Carolyn Owens, a resident of Dothan, died Monday, January 9, 2023 at her residence. She was 78.
Graveside services for Carolyn will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 13, 2023 at Gardens of Memory cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Carolyn was from Dothan and retired as a Stock Room Supervisor from JC Penny. She loved her pets and enjoyed fishing and reading.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother, Myrim Geraldine Wood Benefield; her husband, Jerry Owens; and her brother Jackie Wayne Benefield.
Survivors include her daughter, Laura Stephens; grandchildren, Tisha Baker, Jared Stephens and James Stephens; great grandchildren, Ashton, Tanner, Seth and Henley; great great grandchildren, Ava, Ayla and Ashton.
