Obituary

Carmen Alexus Shiver, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died Tuesday, December 20, 2022 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was 19.

There will be no services held at this time.

Alexus was born on May 5, 2003 in Houston County, Alabama to Robert Bartley and Selina Caye Aviles Shiver. Her hobbies included playing softball, fishing, gardening, and cooking. Alexus was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her most enjoyable times was making lasting memories with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her parents; a son, James Greyson Glass; a brother, Christian Hunter Shiver; grandparents, Maenell and Glenn Marsh, Donna and Jim Shiver, and Gail and Mike Shramek; great grandparents, Jerry and Katherine Strickland; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
