Brandy Hudson Obituary

Brandy Michelle Hudson, a resident of Dothan, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Southeast Health Medical Center. She was 39.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.

Brandy was born October 7, 1981 in Ft. Hood, Texas and moved to Dothan at an early age. She was raised in the country with the help from her maternal grandparents. Brandy was a graduate of Ashford High School where she was a member of the band and FFA. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2017 and fought it hard for years and never complained. Brandy had a big heart and put others before herself. She could light up a room with her presence and will be missed by her family and many friends.

Brandy is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Frank “Gunny” Garner; uncle, Allen Garner and a cousin, Ethan Garner.

Survivors include her mother, Teresa Moorefield (Mat); fiancé, Chris Hines; children, Aubrey Hudson, Lane Gardner and Taylor Gardner; sister, Amber McClenny (Heath); brother, David Hill (April); grandmother, Linda Garner; nephews, Ian and Evan McClenny, Vladimir Hill and cousins, Ashely Willis (Braden) and Amanda Garner.
