Bobby Tom Ellis

Bobby Tom Ellis, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at his home. He was 70.

Funeral services for Bobby will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Sister Judy Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Bobby was born October 31, 1950 to Cecil and Myrtle Andrews Ellis and was raised in Dale County, Alabama, where he was a graduate of Carroll High School. After graduation he began a career in sales eventually retiring as a Service Technician for Florida Microfilm. Bobby enjoyed playing tennis at Wiregrass Park and the Azalea Swim and Tennis Club and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Ellis; children, Felicia Johnson (Chris), Wanda Hyatt (Wayne), David Messick (Tammy); several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a brother, Cecil Ellis.
