Barbara Jean Bowdoin, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Flowers Hospital. She was 75.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Ms. Barbara was born to the late T.J. and Addie Mae Anglin McDonald. Living in Dothan for the past fifty years, raising her family was the joy of her life. She was a devout mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who joyously started each day sharing her love to her family. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Thomas McDonald; two sisters, Mary Hodges and Patricia Jones.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Newton and Paige Chavis (Jerry); two sons, Henry LeBas and Jason Matkin; one sister, Gail Daniels; ten grandchildren, Anthony Salmon, Christopher Barber, Victoria Rivers (Maurice), Courtney Smith (Curtis), Caitlin Brannon (Matthew), Dalton Chavis, Kaylee Boren (Junior), Colton Cherry, Emily Ortego (Cody), and Jacob LeBas (Samantha); three great grandchildren, Addie Toole, Makenna Smith, and Aniyah Rivers.
