William Junior Moat

William Junior Moat, a resident of Birmingham, Alabama died Saturday November 17, 2018 at Mt. Royal Towers Nursing Home. He was 78.

Graveside services for Junior will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Madrid City cemetery with Rev. Jerry Harden officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11:30 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Junior was born in Houston County, Alabama to the late William Dennis and Robbie Mae Hinson Moat. He was engaged in farming in his early years and enjoyed playing the guitar and making music. Junior attended Madrid Assembly of God church.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Survivors include several cousins and nieces and nephews.
