Michael Parsons Obituary

Michael Lee Parsons, a resident of Cottonwood, Alabama died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Southeast Health surrounded by his loving family. He was 71.

Mr. Parsons’ wishes were for no services to be held.

Michael was born to the late Glenn and Grace Conklin Parsons. He was a veteran in the United States Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. After his military service, he began his career in Industrial Construction in Midland, Michigan. After retirement he moved his family to Cottonwood, Alabama where he resided up until his death.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of forty eight years, Helen Mary Parsons; a son, Michael Allen Parsons (Nadia); a daughter, Cindy Austin (Bill); numerous brothers and sisters; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
