Janice Underwood Obituary

Janice Underwood, a resident of Dothan, died Friday, November 16, 2018 at Southeast Health surrounded by her loving family. She was 72.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the residence at 890 Sheppard Road, Dothan, Alabama 36301

Ms. Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Lennie and Gaynell Walding Eldridge; her husband, Carl E. Underwood Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Carl Underwood III (Kimberly), and Courtenay Underwood; two daughters, Carmen Hughes (Troy), and Christy Underwood; two brothers, Phil Eldridge (Brenda), and Bruce Eldridge; one sister, Barbara Jersawitz (Charlie); eight grandchildren, Chayne McClendon, Cade Hughes, Caitlin Shaver, Christian Underwood, Casey Rodgers, Carl E. Underwood IV, Taylor Underwood, and Caroline Underwood; three great grandchildren, Maggie Shaver, Cash Shaver, and C.J. McClendon.
