Glenn Vaughan Obituary

Glenn Newton Vaughan, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Southeast Health. He was 85.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Elba, Alabama with Pastor Stephen Reneau officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall at Elba United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, Virginia 22202, or online at donations.diabetes.org.

Mr. Vaughan was preceded in death by his mother and father, Oscar and Myrtle Olive Vaughan; his first wife and the mother of his children, Sally Jones Vaughan; second wife Hazel Spears Vaughan; two brothers, Oscar Vaughan Jr. and Billy Vaughan; one sister, Miriam Kennedy.

Survivors include a son, John Vaughan (Grace); a daughter, Allyson Morgan (Ronnie); two grandchildren, Drew Morgan (Lori) and Ross Morgan (Annie); three great grandchildren, Reid, Riley, and Jane Morgan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
