Fred David “Freddy” Brannon, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Flowers Hospital. He was 60.

Funeral services for Freddy will be held at 2 PM Sunday October 1, 2017 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Jeff Brannon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Teamon Baptist Church.

Freddy was born January 13, 1957 in Dothan, Alabama to Hilton and Brunetta Johnson Brannon. He was a 1976 graduate of Cottonwood High School and owned and operated Brannon Lawn Care. Freddy was a man that loved family and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Freddy is preceded in death by his father; Hilton Brannon.

Freddy is survived by his wife, Melanie Brannon; son, Josh and Vicki Brannon; daughter, Candace Brannon; two grandchildren, Jonah Trawick and MaKenzie Brannon; mother, Brunetta Brannon; sister, Shirley and Johnny Waters.
