Edward Dean White, a resident of Cottonwood, Alabama, died Saturday, February 10, 2019 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 50.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at his residence until service time.
Eddie retired from Memory Hill Cemetery after 25 years. He was the proud owner and operator of White’s Outdoor Services until his death. He was also a proud member of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and the Dothan Network Alliance. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Mr. White is preceded in death by his father, Charles White.
Survivors include his mother, Wannah Mathis White; a daughter, Brandy White (Reginald Ward); a son, Dustin White (Kayla); previous wife of 30 years, Leigh White; a brother, Jimbob White; a sister, Renee Blackmon; three grandchildren, Dalson Beasley, Waylon White, and Dixie White; mother in-law, Gayle Johnston; in-laws, Marcus Johnston (Denise), and Paul Johnston; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
