Bobby Ray Wilhoit

Bobby Ray Wilhoit, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 81.

Memorial services for Mr. Wilhoit will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Kosis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service.

Mr. Wilhoit was born January 2, 1937 in Greeneville, Tennessee to the late Cecil and Maneita Waddell Wilhoit. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired as a travelling maintenance man for General Shale Brick Company. Mr. Wilhoit was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and involved in the Men’s’ Prayer breakfast and enjoyed playing golf.

Mr. Wilhoit is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Phyllis Ann Wilhoit.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary Ann Wilhoit; sons, Mike and Lois Wilhoit, David Wilhoit; grandchildren, Joshua and Melissa Wilhoit, Daniel Wilhoit; great grandchildren, Savannah, Chris, Scarlet, Chloe, Claire, Ashton and Jackson
