Leta Muraski Obituary

Leta Bandy Muraski, a resident of Wesley Place on Honeysuckle, formerly of Enterprise, was welcomed into Heaven on Tuesday, April 3, 2024. She was 80.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

Leta was the daughter of the late Ouida Maddox Bandy. She was born October 17, 1943, in Enterprise, Alabama. She was married to Donald Muraski for forty eight years, they were one of the sweetest couples. Leta had heart for people, and that was best shown in her work at the Enterprise Senior Center, where she was a long-time employee. In her younger years you could find her working alongside her mother at her BBQ restaurant Bandy’s. Some of her greatest gifts was helping others. She had a kind compassionate heart and gave the best hugs. Leta was a wonderful example of a God-fearing women, wife, mother, and friend. She has left a hole in our hearts, but we know that she has now been healed completely, and not even Alzheimer’s can stand in her way.

Leta was preceded in death by her mother; a brother, Mike; and two sisters, Dolores and Quanita.

Left to treasure her memories are her husband; children, Christi Muraski Zahm, husband Chad & their children Mazie & Noah, of Lititz, Pennsylvania, Michael Muraski, his wife Jennifer & their children Alden & Emmett, of Dothan, Alabama.
