Lois White Leverett, a resident of Cowarts and formerly Hoover, Alabama died Sunday August 7, 2016 at her residence. She was 97.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Chaplain Daniel E. Rieben officiating. Private burial will be held at Ashford City cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Survivors include her son, Bruce Leverett, Cowarts.
