Linda Hatcher Lanier, a resident of Webb, Alabama, died Friday, November 10, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. She was 71.

Mrs. Lanier was born May 5, 1946 in Marianna Florida. She was a loving mother, daughter, nana, and friend. She enjoyed her dogs, birds, and gardening. She had a love for painting and was very creative. She was a member of the Mensa International Organization. Mrs. Lanier worked in Retail Management until retirement.

Mrs. Lanier was preceded in death by her husband Raburn Lanier; father, Owen Hatcher; step-fatrher, Lester Alford.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Maria Alford, Graceville, FL; three sons, Van Wilson Jr (Samone), Douglas, GA; Johnny Wilson (Angel), Cowarts, AL; Ashley Wilson (Kathy), Chandler, AZ; one daughter, Linda Rachelle Marshall, Webb, AL; many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
