Laura Lynn Gasper Averett, age 65, of Dothan, AL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Dec. 18, 2017.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Originally from Torrance, CA, Laura moved to Dothan in 1983 and worked as office manager at McClintock, Nelson & Associates for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Gloria Gasper, siblings Rick Gasper & Karen Ricks and her aunt, Donna Braun.
She is survived by her daughter, Courey Averett (Travis); aunts, Mary Conlee, Judy Peters, Lou Ellen Keesling; several cousins and extended family.
The family would like to thank all friends and family who have given support recently, especially the past & present staff of McClintock, Nelson & Associates, Rebecca & Paul Suggs, the staff of Flowers Hospital, & the Dothan Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
