Eddie Jerome Cherry, age 78, of Wewahitchka, Florida, formerly of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Cherry was born in the Memphis Church Community on November 7, 1938 to Edward and Lemmie Davis Cherry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Boyett.
Mr. Cherry is survived by two sons, Yates Cherry of Auburn, Alabama, and Rory Cherry (Kimber) of Arnold, Maryland; grandchildren, Sloane Cherry, and Daniel Jinright of Auburn, Alabama, Harper and Brenn Cherry of Arnold, Maryland; former wife, Retha Cherry of Dothan, Alabama; three brothers, Johnny Mack and Kenneth Cherry of Dothan, Alabama, Ronny Cherry of Wewahitchka, Florida; one sister, Gwen Dunning of Dothan, Alabama; two nieces, and five nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
