Donald Lavaughn Jenkins, a resident of Graceville, Florida and formerly Fadette, Alabama died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Signature Healthcare of North Florida. He was 60.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Fadette Pentecostal Ministries with Reverend Johnny Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the services at the church.

Mr. Jenkins was born August 12, 1956 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Hurlon Lavaughn and Martha Jewel Ray Jenkins. He grew up in Fadette, Alabama and was a 1976 graduate of Slocomb High School. He worked with Hedstrom Union and then later with Golden Peanut. Mr. Jenkins loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and was a member of Fadette Pentecostal Ministries.

Mr. Jenkins is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Jenkins and a brother, Ray “D.R.” Jenkins.

Survivors include his sister and her husband, Louise and Thomas Adams; brother and his wife, Lamar and Patricia Jenkins, nieces, Sandy and her husband Brian Killingsworth, Pamela Adams and Roxanne Adams; great niece, Lacy Killingsworth.
