Cristie Rae (Jones) Hayes 69, passed away Thursday July 20th, 2017 in her home in Dothan

Cristie was born on March 6th, 1948.

She was preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) Jones, mother, Minnie Bell, (Decker) Jones, brother, Billy Jones and sister, Lauren (Biff) Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Hayes and his sons, Charles, Tommy, and Eddie, sons,

Rick and (Sherri) Runge, Troy and (Michelle) Runge, daughter, Ronda and (Charles)

Gately, son, Shawn and (Sherry) Runge, grandchildren, Desiree, Trevor, Christopher, John,

Melinda, Tyler, Trenton, Casey, Devin, 6 great grandchildren, family and friends.

She had a love for gardening, fishing, and was very artistic. She loved to paint, make wood

shelves, and benches. She had an eye for detail and everything she touched turned out

beautiful. She will be remembered for her big heart. She lent a helping hand to all, people as well as her four legged family. Her love for animals showed what an amazing and compassionate woman she was. She always cooked wonderful food to welcome all to sit and share at her table.

Cristie had a deep connection with horses, she loved to ride and felt free when she was with
