Carl Leroy Young, a resident of Slocomb, Alabama died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at his residence. He was 83.

Mr. Young’s wishes were for cremation and no services will be held at this time.

Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Betty Young; children, Joanna Sue Busscher (John), Lisa Ann Young, Kelly Laroy Young (Stacey); grandsons, Paul Michael Anderson (Talon) , Aaron Mitchell Anderson; two great grandchildren; three siblings, Robert Young, Carolyn Smith and Betty Eck.
