Allen Franklin Garner, a resident of Dothan, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Flowers Hospital. He was 50.

Memorial services for Allen will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Pastor Fred Bacher officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Allen was born August 27, 1966 in Cherry Point, North Carolina to the late Franklin Durell Garner and Linda Faulkner Garner.  He was a farrier by trade and worked with Landmark Park and Boots and Saddle Club. Allen was the President of the Regional Land and Water Rescue, member of the Faith Riders and had a love for horses, fishing, hunting and carpentry.

Allen is preceded in death by his father and a son, Ethan Garner.

Survivors include his children, Amanda Garner, Ashley Willis (Braden), Ryan Garner; two grandchildren; mother, Linda Garner; two sisters, Teresa Moorefield, Tammy Garner; brother Andrew Garner.
